Court Street United Methodist Church, located in historic downtown Lynchburg, VA is dedicated to "making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world". "Court Street", (as the members like to call it) offers a traditional worship service in a beautiful "turn of the century" sanctuary.

Come and join us on Sunday to worship the Risen Christ. You will hear a powerful message delivered by our Pastor (and great friend) The Reverend Doug Pillow, or our minister's assistant, Patrick (who just happens to be Doug's grandson). Patrick is presently attending seminary but his sermons are given with a poise well beyond his years.

You will also take in the inspiring music led by a world class pipe organ, a talented and accredited staff second to none, and frequent solo and instrumental artists.

"Court Street" ministers to our local community through numerous outreach programs, and our influence reaches throughout the world through our affiliation with The United Methodist Church.

So, browse our site, join us Sunday mornings for bible study and worship, or pop in on Wednesday evening (check church events for "Wednesday Night Alive" Schedule) for good food, fellowship, and great programing and bible study.

May God bless you, and see you soon at "Court Street"!

Pastor
